ACUPUNCTURE
AVIAN CARE We see a wide variety of birds on a regular basis and cater to their every need. We offer only the best bird diets available and recommend bringing your companion in for regular yearly exams. |
BATHING | Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. |
BEHAVIORAL MEDICINE | Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. We can reccomend trained animal behaviorists who help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client. |
BLOOD TRANSFUSION | We are capable of supplying blood for all types of pets in case of emergency. The blood is collected from donor pets that live with their owners, and all blood is carefully screened for disease. |
BOARDING | Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We provide tender loving care (such as brushing and cuddling) all throughout their stay to keep them happy and active. |
BRONCHOSCOPY | High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination of your pet’s respiratory system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the nasal cavity, trachea and lungs. |
COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE | Our clinic embraces the holistic approach to pet health and wellness. We balance traditional medicine with acupuncture, massage, herbal and chiropractic therapies. |
DAY CARE | Is your pet unhappy or lonely while you're at work? Give your companion the personal attention he or she deserves throughout the day. We offer the same TLC and playtime offered to our longer-term guests. |
DENTAL CARE | Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. Non-anesthetic dental services are available for those pets unable to undergo anesthesia. |
EMERGENCY AND CRITICAL CARE | In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is backed up by our mobile resuscitation unit, stocked and equipped to administer the ABCs of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. In addition, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center. |
ENDOSCOPY | High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery. |
FULLY STOCKED PHARMACY | We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field. |
HOSPICE/EUTHANASIA SERVICES | Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client. |
HOUSE CALLS | Our mobile health unit responds to house calls if you are unable to bring your pet to the clinic. |
IMMUNIZATION AND WELLNESS CARE | We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. |
INTERNAL MEDICINE | We cover all areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Neurology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Orthopedic surgery; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others. |
LASER TECHNOLOGY | Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort. |
MICROCHIPPING | Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. |
NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING | Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active. |
PAIN MANAGEMENT | Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care. |
RABBIT CARE We see and treat rabbits on a routine basis. In addtion to routine exams and treatments, we offer spay or neuter services for your fuzzy friend. |
RADIOLOGY | Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. |
REPTILE CARE From turtles to snakes to geckos, we see many reptile species. When reptiles become sick, many times it is due to husbandry issues. We offer information for all types of reptiles and reccommend deworming for many of these species on a yearly basis. Most importantly, bring in your reptile for yearly exams to avoid any complications in the future. |
SMALL MAMMAL CARE Ferrets, mice, hamsters, rats and other small mammals are welcome in our hospital. We care for each and every little animal that comes through our door. |
SPECIALISTS | Sometimes conditions arise that require veterinarians with specialized training. When necessary we refer to only the best certified veterinary cardiologists, dermatologists, oncologists, neurologists and ophthalmologists. |
SURGERY | We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Surgical services and facilities include: board certified surgeon available for consultation; fully trained veterinary and technical staff, to ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; intensive after surgery care and full blood testing. |
ULTRASOUND | This non-invasive, state-of-the-art technology uses sound waves to painlessly examine specific internal organs, primarily the heart and abdominal organs. Pregnancy exams are also available. |
